Reducing Underwater Noise for preserving ecosystems.
Supplier of underwater Noise Abatement System for maritime works
The Context
Marine life is highly sensitive to underwater noise with staggered impacts up to fatal injuries
Offshore wind farm foundation piling into the seabed, generates intense sound pulses reaching 170 to 250 dB, severely disrupting marine ecosystems.
Sealence is driving change.
By drastically reducing underwater noise, we help build a cleaner and quieter future — where renewable energy and marine life can thrive together.
High Performance

One Solution, Multiple Projects
The SubSea Quieter® , designed for regulatory compliance and ocean protection, reducing underwater noise pollution and turbidity from all maritime works.
The SubSea Quieter
The SubSea Quieter (SSQ) reduces the harmful underwater noise and turbidity pollution generated by human maritime activities like coastal and pile driving works.
Patented six times, the underwater noise abatement system is made with an innovative membrane waved in 3D with a layer of coating providing resistance and waterproofness.
This membrane is used for building inflatable panels. Once inflated, the break in impedance between the water and the introduced air dramatically attenuates sounds. The 3D membrane structure and the specially formulated coating also contribute to this very high acoustic efficiency.
